Improvements to the notification process and form now available

In December 2021 the Medicines Evaluation Board and the Health and Youth Care Inspectorate announced the introduction of changes in the procedure for submitting notifications via the Medicine Shortages and Defects Notification Centre. These changes will improve the security and user-friendliness of the notification centre.

As of today you can use the new notification form and possibilities of the Notification Centre. The most important changes are:

  • Only authorised users can submit a notification.
  • After logging in, an overview of your previous notifications is shown.
  • The details from a previous notification can be copied to use them for a new notification.

You can use the old form until 17.00 on March 11, 2022. Until then you can finish and verify previous notifications. Notifications that are not verified before then will be deleted.

If you have no account yet, please read the user guide on how to get access to the notification centre.
